expert driver training

The aim of the London Traffic Light Awareness Scheme is to enable drivers to gain a fuller understanding of the dangers, and potential consequences, of failing to comply with an automatic traffic signal and, as a result, change driving behaviour.

Operated in conjunction with the London Safety Camera Partnership, the Scheme provides many drivers who have 'jumped a red light' in the London area with the opportunity to take an offer of an educational Workshop instead of a fine and points on their driving licence.

To attend a Workshop, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must have received a letter from the Police inviting you to take part in a Workshop.
  • You must book and pay for your Workshop within 21 days of first communication from DriveTech TLAS.
  • You must bring your complete driving licence and/or some official photographic identification e.g driving licence photocard or passport.
  • You must meet all the conditions of the terms and conditions.
